I can do cooked and pickled, but if I order food and it has raw onions on it, I will spend the next 45 minutes meticulously removing all of them.

I'm not sure why I don't fuck with licorice. My mom was a fan when I was a kid and I could never get into it. Everything else is fine to some degree.

One that I don't love is meat on the bone, but I'll eat it if it's the only option.

There are a few things on the list that I'm not crazy about, but nothing that I'll outright refuse no matter what.

Yeah if I’m in someone’s home or whatever and they’re offering me something to eat, I’ll eat it. Likewise in foreign countries I tend to not reject anything that’s offered, though I was offered caterpillars in Africa and didn’t accept because I was hammered and couldn’t guarantee an appropriate response

I used to not do boiled eggs. Being able to tolerate those is a recent development.

I was super picky before I was like 25 or so. I didn't have fish that wasn't in the form of frozen fish stick until I was maybe 20. I didn't try several pretty common fruits and vegetables until I was in my 20s either. I feel like I'm making up for lost time so I will eat pretty much anything.

I'm pretty adventurous, so I'm not sure exactly what I wouldn't eat...except maybe balut. I've heard too many stories about it.
Oh, and I don't eat dinuguan because the making of it always grossed me out when I was young.
But, like, duck testicles? I'd eat those again.

When I lived in Ecuador part of the big meal of the day usually included a fried egg, rice, meat of some kind, and avocado. I discovered that if I chopped up the fried egg with the rice and avocado I could do it, and it was actually delicious. Game changer.

4. kidneys, 2 things I didn't feel like looking up what they were, and being from Skokie, of course, pork.*
*assuming the bacon bits on prepared salads aren't real pork, but soy or whatever corporate food conglomerates make them out of.

I 100% wouldn’t eat balut. Yeah I can agree there. I've eaten doves' head, though.

I don't really like carrots, particularly cooked ones, but they're in one meal that's in my regular rotation and I don't go out of my way to avoid them generally. Not really a fan of cottage cheese, and I've never had marmite. Otherwise I'm good.

Now, I only ever want fried eggs with runny yolks and don't really care for boiled eggs. Scrambled have always been okay.
