A little over a week left and there aren't many lists. Do we need more time? I know bosmy is gonna ramp up the movies lists soon too so dont wanna conflict too much with the lovely list making.

do we need more time? I'm fine with pushing it out. Only have 6 lists and 1 not quite finished one. These decade ones are massive so there's no harm in asking for more time. just do it politely.

How is everyone feeling about this? It hasn't gotten a lot of traction and if it's more of a pain then we dont have to do it..... I dont wanna go down in Board Dot history as the guy who forced everyone to do a decade list. There are much worse things I can be remembered for.

I don't mind doing it, I've just been swamped with another major project that wraps up tomorrow, so I can knock out a list on Saturday.
I pulled my choices from my AotY lists from each year and have about 120 albums to choose from, so I just need to order and whittle it down.

This was the mid-90s, so pretty much everything they played was whatever alterna band was breaking through at the time, or some lame classic rock. The owner came in one night, and put on Ah Um by Charles Mingus, and my mind was just blown. I had barely started listening to jazz by that time, and that was amazing. |
