Not sure how it ruins the point. The point is not to have alcohol. Yeah I need more follow up on this lmao. N/A beers are lifesavers. As is weed. I don't know if I could go fully dry without either.

Biggest two reasons collectively for us for dry January were to save calories and save money. Though IMO the calories are negligible, but the money wasted on them is a thing, but to that I'd say I haven't had more than 2 in a night and I can crush 3-6 regular beers any given night if I start drinking I also had a third reason in that I was hoping this would reset me because I was drinking too often and I think the N/A beer actively is helping me in that regard. I'm thinking I'm going to stock it in the fridge and grabbing one of those instead of the regular beer could prevent me from a night of drinking for the record I'd argue she's wrong overall I think I should be using whatever tools I can to get through this month as long as I'm not spending a ton of money but that was just her opinion lmao

I think there’s also an argument that the point of Dry January can be to pause the habits and/or rituals associated with drinking alcohol.
I’ve done Dry January with N/A beers in the past. This time I’m just drinking water and seltzer partly because I’ve yet to find an N/A brand I like. (I haven’t tried many of the new options mentioned in this thread.)

Would agree that n/a products are expensive. However, when I'm drinking N/A stuff, I'm never at a point where I want to buy a round of shots or indiscriminately start knocking back doubles.... So I think big picture it is a money saver.

I took some live resin infused gummies last night and was borderline uncomfortably high. There was like an hour where I was really going through it. I will never stop being high though.

I'm a big fan of the 2.5 mg chews/candies. Only time I'll have a 10mg is when my ass is going to be glued to the couch for the evening.

might keep going, might have a celebratory beer and then keep going, might just fall off the wagon entirely. The world is our oyster.

I'll have a bottle of wine ready for tomorrow, but I made it.
Guess my dieting and exercise worked (and the dry january too), according to my scale at home, I somehow lost 15 pounds this month
