I think (and correct me if I'm wrong) it's referring to "basement loft" being an oxymoron like Jumbo Shrimp.

update on mold/mildew
maintenance guy brought in another maintenance guy who also didn't smell anything
i had a friend stop by tonight who also didn't smell anything
i still smell it tho.
getting some cleaners in my apartment this weekend to clean it top to bottom and hopefully then it goes away for me.

If you end up staying near downtown again, it's close by. The owners have a pretty good track record in the area, too. |

My father found out that my brothers and I had dinner with his mom, and the stepfather he's not on speaking terms with, and ever since there's been a cloud of anxiety hanging over my head. The next conversation we have is going to be awful.

It is. He found out yesterday, and I'm going to give him a call this evening. I felt that giving him a day between discovery and talking would help him to cool from actively angry to just upset.

yeah especially with the big day coming up If this weren't happening, I probably would have answered last night, and stood my ground. He's specifically said he doesn't want us to not have a relationship with his mom. He just never handles it in the moment as well as he thinks he will. And while he's not the sort to hold the wedding over my head, I also don't want to actively confront him given the timing. |
