i went to some minor league baseball games over the weekend and saw a few top 100 prospects (anthony volpe, orelvis martinez, george valera, brayan rocchio). it was a lot of the usual - terrific raw talent with several mental lapses sprinkled in. it's always kind of nice to see that and have it punctuate just how good MLB players are.

I'm psyched to see them work their way up the ladder for Cleveland i saw them on sunday. rocchio had 2 GIDPs, a solid single, and decent defense. valera struck out 3 times. so, small sample size, but neither made an impact on me. |

Lenyn Sosa is getting called up from AA. Dude has been absolutely raking in a pitcher's ballpark all while posting a pretty low strikeout rate, so hopefully he immediately provides more of an impact bat.

I like the idea of the players wearing jerseys that resemble their teams jerseys all in a similar color palette but they picked a terrible color scheme. |
