I'm guessing A LOT of people are waiting out the weather at home, but yeah right now, maybe 1)3 the usual size. I just got food at 5:30 and there was only one line of like 3 people at one stand |

Camp Cope sounded cool on the live stream. Would like to catch them at a fest sometime. Was not as into the bit of Tierra Whack that I saw. Was doing some 1 minute Whack World tracks but taking like 3 minutes to perform each with restarts, crowd hyping, etc. Then was rapping over the full vocal track. Good energy, not my kinda thing tho.

Dawn Richard> Spiritualized> The National was a real good run of music today. Ethel Cain a big highlight as well. Glad we didn’t get evacuated and that the rain eventually stopped. Worst discovery of the day was that white claw discontinued Surge

while making the decision, which I still have not decided, I learned that Hyd and I share a birthday (but not birth year). On the day they was born, I saw the Pogues play the Riviera (it was Bloomsday, so it was extra appropriate to see them then). Fairytale of NY was not in the setlist.

The good news is it does look like Sofia Kourtesis is going to make it after all
And the attendance by the end of the night last night seemed closer to on par with a normal P4k day by the end. Far from sold out, but it was a pretty good sized crowd for The National

Had a great time yesterday. Was a total custie and bought a candle, a bar of soap, and a fest shirt. The Plus ticket apparently comes with a $20 off voucher, so the long sleeve tee was only $20.
Wiki was really good despite the rain. The song from his upcoming album sounded great.
Parquet Courts was probably the most fun I've ever had at a Pitchfork set. The pit started right next to us and it was a real good time.
Spiritualized was absolutely terrific. Basically a must see band so I think I'm gonna drive up to Milwaukee for their show in September.
The National was awesome. I was very drunk.

Had a great time yesterday. I managed to see every act which is something i've never done on day at Pitchfork before. Planning on doing more full sets today. Mag Bay- Lucy- Japanese Breakfast- Mitski is going to be a great run tonight.

The highlight of yesterday was some dude walking up behind me at the national with a full Connie’s pizza and giving me a slice. Forgot to eat all fest.
The other highlight was “so long you pretty thing”
