Yes. For some reason he is in all the promo pics for the new album, yet their guitarist Dave Kuening is not. Very strange.
Yeah the touring bassist looks kind of like Bray Wyatt so I could see why they'd want to make sure they are maintaining the image for their brand. wait...he looks like Rango?

irt VW and Rostam... I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back in the band with a new album next year. nothing to support that other than gut feeling, and that him still being engaged with their work kinda keeps that door open.

We thinking Sky Ferreira will finally tour again next year as an undercard or have y'all given up on her ever making another album?

We thinking Sky Ferreira will finally tour again next year as an undercard or have y'all given up on her ever making another album? Seems more likely that Pitchfork would book her. Last two times I saw her live she was awful though. Pitchfork set in like 2013(?) she barely hadn't any material and you could tell he wasn't into her "poppier" early stuff. Saw her after her album came out at a college show and she and her band were super awkward onstage and kept complaining about how weird it was to play a concert venue/lecture hall on a campus. Aside from that though they just didn't sound good.

Back in 2013 I saw her open for Vampire Weekend and it wasn't bad.
She was in that dumb Eli Roth movie and had a cameo in Twin Peaks so maybe she's just into acting now?

Like I'm not asking to be a dick, I'm genuinely curious if she's gained that much popularity since she played in 2016.

She's playing Allstate Arena in November, so I think she's still very popular.

Vampire Weekend is totally headlining this fest next year if the album is coming out Spring 2018.

I had no idea she was playing Allstate, so that would probably explain my confusion. I truly thought she had that one big song a few years ago and that's it.

You don't have to lie about regularly watching the Today show.
But also that surprises me a lot and this fest seems to have a hard on for booking her, so we'll probably see it happen next year.

Jay Z probably does make more sense then Kanye since he's playing a couple of Live Nation fests this year.

I have a hard time seeing any electronic artist outside of Daft Punk playing the main stage at Lolla. I don't care how many arenas the Chainsmokers sell out. They would play the north stage.
My vote is Jay Z and Sam Smith in your top 4 non-rock headliners with Foo and a repeat band like the Black Keys finishing it out.
Jay Z - Foo Fighters - Black Keys - Sam Smith

strong board logic of Lolla only booking two arena acts as headliners this year but next year booking three stadium acts and 2 arena acts next year

There is a difference between "don't want" and "hard time seeing".
