I found The Thermals a little disappointing live. Lead singer was kind of on autopilot.

Not much of a reason to see Fleetwood Mac again now

Mike Campbell and Neil Finn are good replacements tho No its not because there is no way to replace Lindsay Buckingham in Fleetwood Mac and have it still be Fleetwood Mac unless they were doing a blues album tour lol

As far as rock guitarists go, Buckingham's style and tone are more unique than most. I lovelovelove Mike Campbell, but rango's right - he's firmly from the blues side of the spectrum. I'm sure he can cover the Fleetwood Mac tunes quite well, but it's kind of a weird choice. Not that I think of a decent replacement off the top of my head. I'm sure it has a lot to do with Stevie Nicks' decades-long relationship with the Heartbreakers.
All that said, I'd totally go see 80% of the seminal Fleetwood Mac lineup play with Campbell and Finn, but I wouldn't be willing to pay a lot for it or see it in an enormodome.

Yeah this has to hurt the rumored tour at least a little. I mean a fuckload of people will still pay for this I'm sure but I would downgrade from "pay a little more than I should for a good ticket" to "maybe get a cheaper ticket if I could"

Hopefully they follow the Pumpkins playbook and leak angry text messages from Lindsay to hype the tour

Hopefully they follow the Pumpkins playbook and leak angry text messages from Lindsay to hype the tour already have had two conflicting statements released in the span of a couple hours, one a "report" from a music publication. they are well on their way to pumpkin town.

I found The Thermals a little disappointing live. Lead singer was kind of on autopilot. they could be very hit-or-miss. i saw them 8 times and i'd say 3 were awesome shows, 3 were ok, and 2 were autopilot.

Speaking about Buckingham to Rolling Stone, Stevie Nicks said, “```Our relationship has always been volatile. We were never married, but we might as well have been. Some couples get divorced after 40 years. They break their kids’ hearts and destroy everyone around them because it’s just hard. This is sad for me, but I want the next 10 years of my life to be really fun and happy. I want to get up every day and dance around my apartment and smile and say, ‘Thank God for this amazing life.’”
Mick Fleetwood added, ```“Words like ‘fired’ are ugly references as far as I’m concerned. Not to hedge around, but we arrived at the impasse of hitting a brick wall. This was not a happy situation for us in terms of the logistics of a functioning band. To that purpose, we made a decision that we could not go on with him. Majority rules in term of what we need to do as a band and go forward.”

Not feeling like dropping $80+ after fees to see them from the back row of an arena, and have it not even be the full group.

ignoring the digital avatar thing they're planning, real abba would have been too expensive to play any festivals in 2019, i think.

This is awesome news. really? i feel like Pendulum headlined any fest they played back in the day and Knife Party are still like "subbing at Perry's" level. i feel like i didnt hate Pendulum but also didnt get the hype. im sure i'll end up catching 2 songs at coachella next year out of morbid curiosity

I'm excited for it. Definitely a big part of the soundtrack to my early college days back in Aus.
