I never got to see Elastica back in the day. I did hear they weren't very good live, though. I saw Live back in November of 1994 at Radio Music Hall in DC. Weezer was one of the opening bands, and at the time, I barely knew any of their music (I think I still don't know anything other than the blue album). I think that was also the only time I ever saw Weezer. I thought about going to see Elastica in a small club in St. Louis, but I had the ACT the next morning. They replaced Sinead O'Connor on the Lolla tour one summer, but we didn't get them. If we had gotten them, I would've gone (I still should've gone). I saw Live a few times, but not the one with Weezer opening. That Lollapalooza is the only time I saw Sinead. Of course, she pulled the ultimate punk rock move of not singing "Nothing Compares 2 U." I'm glad I saw her instead of Elastica, though. Speaking of the ACT, that reminds me of when my friends and I were all panicked because tickets for Pearl Jam (the Vs. tour) went on sale the same morning that a bunch of us were taking the ACT. HOW WERE WE ALL GOING TO MAKE SURE WE GOT TICKETS? Miraculously, we all ended up getting tickets. They were less than $20 a piece, including service charges.

I also got to see Sinead O'Connor at Lolla that year. Very glad I got the opportunity to see her. But, Elastica would have been good, too

Not that anyone here or elsewhere cares, but [the three siblings in the pop country band from the early 2010's] The Band Perry put out a press release yesterday saying that they have broken up.

Since it seems like the ig post is not posting correctly, Butch is making an announcement tomorrow, and posted photos of a practice space with what looks like the instruments for M3.
If they only end up playing shows in Atlanta, I will seriously consider travelling for that

They should rename the band Frankie Goes to Eurovision (I have never listened to this band)

Frankie's debut was HUGE and spawned 3 hits and included an interesting cover of Born to Run. The second album flopped in the US - I don't think I ever listened to it.
Not sure why folks are making such a huge deal about the reunion, but here we are.

Aerosmith Farewell Tour dates are coming Monday I thought they were washed up when I saw them at Riverport in 1994, and it's 29 years later and they're just getting around to hanging it up. shrug.

Aerosmith Farewell Tour dates are coming Monday i had seats right next to the catwalk at an aerosmith show and stephen tyler stopped and sang right in front of me and so why not i started pulling on his scarves hanging from the mic stand and he was not happy with me at all. i strummed joe perry's guitar too and i was sober through all this and somehow didn't get kicked out.

Seems unlikely, but Big Bonus Points if they use “penultimate” when promoting this tour.

I see they are trying for the "hoping for higher fest billing in 3-5 years" reunion path
Top of page of course, IRT Walk the Moon
