My mom and I are attempting a 1,000 piece Gustav Klimt puzzle this weekend. Pray 4 us. Update: We "finished" this but are currently missing a piece  We just learned our dog does eat puzzle pieces, which really calls all our previously unfinished puzzles into question. |

Last year our party was at Fatpur in the south loop. I got shitfaced and listened to my co-workers talk about how much their husbands sucked. I didn't pay for a drink all night, even after the "open bar" closed. I was one of 3 people in the office the next day. No word on our party yet but I'm 50-50 on going again. If it's at Fatpour again I'll probably stay there until the open bar closes and then go to a different bar to watch whatever sportsball is on This is happening like such and I'm definitely getting my alcoholism on that night |

I am usually so so good at gifts for my wife. She’s not easy to shop for but every year I end up blowing it out of the water (her words not mine). I currently have 0 ideas and I’m starting to stress about it.

Speaking of air fryers, I made steaks in there for the first time last night, and they turned out pretty damn good. That's a great new way to hold me over til grilling season is back again.

I would definitely be like "Well the boarding places are booked up so the doge is coming" and not worry about it at all. You can't spring something like that less than a week out.
