Schwarber finally not batting leadoff today so that'll be a welcomed change to watch

I can't tell whether the Rockies are legit good. I'll enjoy it while it lasts, though. The ballpark has more energy these days.

The Rockies are a weird but fun team. Fangraphs has them at 4th in Defensive WAR, 3rd in Pitching WAR, and 28th in Offensive WAR.
It would be ideal if Carlos Gonzalez wasn't the worst hitter in baseball.

I wonder what the hold up is on Hahn dealing Robertson to the Nats. Maybe the Nats think they can skate by for a bit, but D-Rob is always good for a couple of horrific meltdowns each year and you'd think theyd want to cash in soon.

The Nats supposedly don't wanna pay his full salary and give up a real prospect. We'll see which side bends first.

I just wonder if the market gets flooded with relievers later on.

I wonder if the Orioles jump in on the bidding now that Britton is down for at least the next two months.

I wonder if the Orioles jump in on the bidding now that Britton is down for at least the next two months. I feel like the O's can wait around to see what things look like in July and go bargain hunting if need be. The Nats are very clearly all in for this year and their bullpen situation is more of a dumpster fire than the O's.

The White Sox are one of two remaining teams bidding for Luis Robert (the other is the Cardinals). This would be a terrific signing - clearly a position of need, and he fits well with the rebuilding plans.

From Baseball America: According to Ken Rosenthal the White Sox are finalizing a deal with Robert now, expected to be over $25M.

It's nice to have one team that has a vision and is executing on it.

The Red Sox game on Memorial Day is scheduled to be Chris Sale vs Jose Quintana. Should be a hell of a day.

Sad that a no-hitter only lowered his ERA to 5.44, but hey, I'll take it. Hopefully he capitalizes on this start.

Went to my first Sox game of the year today. As much as my brain tries to convince me that this is a bad team, I'm inclined to think the 2017 White Sox are weirdly good.
I still want them to trade Quintana/Robertson/Jones and commit to the rebuild, but this has been a genuinely fun team to watch this year.

We're going tonight and I'm psyyyychhed. This will be my fourth MLB game of the year (2nd Sox, been to 2 Cubs) and three of them have been for free. Good baseball season so far.

Welp that matchup didn't really materialize. At least the ChiSox gave Sale his worst outing of the season.

Yeah, that wasn't the best. Still a fun 6-7 innings, though.
