I could be wrong, but I think it had been announced that the plan is to add netting before the season starts. Not sure why they've delayed it this long. This was confirmed at Sox Fest this weekend, btw. The White Sox will have the netting extended before the season starts. |

As this board's only (I think) Tribe fan, I couldn't be happier about this move. That logo was an embarrassment for years, heightened especially by the fans' insistence on standing by a racist caricature on the grounds of "tradition". Looking forward to taking even more steps in the future on this front. Hopefully this means a new logo and, eventually, a new team name. |
