Isn't helping that the Tigers are somehow 4-21 in September.

I'm glad that Ausmus won't be returning next year. That was such a terrible hire.

last night, a friend of mine sent pics from pnc park in pittsburgh, where he's visiting for a few days. what a beautiful park - would love to do some kind of baseball roadtrip out that way some day... some combo of cincy, detroit, cleveland, pittsburgh, philly...

Cubs fans really love to shit on that ballpark, but it's a great place to watch a game.

The Sox really blew an opportunity to build an awesome stadium. Flip home plate so the seats face downtown. Move the upper deck closer to the field.
Blew my mind to learn that the new front row in the upper deck is further from home plate than the last row in the old stadium.

Odd concept for the roof.
It creates a lot of space on either side of the park. I wonder what will be in that space. Looks like a cool bar/restaurant scene out front.

Flip home plate so the seats face downtown. I never understand this criticism. I think people assume that the skyline would dominate the outfield view, when in reality 35th is not all that close.

Looks like a cool bar/restaurant scene out front. it reminds me of seattle and houston, although i think those are in panels and not just one big roof? this is an interior view of it.

How in the hell do they justify the need for a new ballpark already? yeah, it did. and the current lease doesn't end for a few years, but from what i understand (hansford, chime in if you want), city of arlington was being proactive to get this done because dallas was making noise about wanting them in the city proper.
