Finally saw Endgame a second time, and surprisingly liked it even more. Definitely top 5 mcu movie for me now.

Endgame is being re-released with post-credits scenes that are either deleted or extended scenes. They really wanna dethrone Avatar.

Right as Far From Home started feeling like it was going a bit south, a la Iron Man 3, it turned around sharply and became a ton of fun. One of the best villain scenes in any MCU movie... Maybe the coolest, imo.

I went in with very low expectations but thought it was very good. I’d agree the first half is kind of stupid - the whole subplot with Peter’s classmate being interested in MJ was so forced and obnoxious - but the Mysterio stuff is well done. Definitely the best way they could’ve interpreted that character for the MCU.
Minor/pointless critique but JB Smoove seemed to just have stumbled on set and mutter JB Smoove-isms every ten minutes. It is ridiculous how hung up I am on this but I think Hannibal Buress’ gym teacher from Homecoming would’ve had better chemistry with Martin Starr.
Also the two post-credit scenes make me excited to see what they do with Phase 4.

My minor critique is every time they changed the locale, it felt more like "let's use the next place we are getting a tax break to film at" than any sort of story necessity. Still enjoyed the movie plenty. Jake was perfect for his role.

Uh, that was fine I guess. Jake is good and Tom is probably my favorite Spidey

Also thought some of the comedy in this one was incredibly weak and lazy in the first half and the fights were so boring which I guess was a little on purpose but compared to Endgame and Capt Marvel this was a masterpiece lol

Tom Holland might be the best casting of the MCU outside RDJ. He's so good in the role. Jake was great too.
The tone of this movie was kind of weird. I don't think I loved the movie overall but I definitely enjoyed it. I really liked that they didn't ignore the implications of the snap (I'd love to see that further explored on a tv show or something)
mid-credits scene is probably the best mid-credits scene of any MCU movie so far

It's basically Eurotrip but 20% as funny and 20x more expensive

I'm thinking of what the consensus best action scenes are in the MCU. Of the 4 that come to mind, 2 are 100% fan favorites strictly for the character beats. The other two kind of qualify for the action itself. I should clarify that I like these movies generally, but they lag well well behind almost every other major franchise where "action" is concerned.

I would say Winter Soldier is the only MCU film with decent-to-good action sequences.
Second place would be everyone vs. Thanos on Titan in Infinity War, although it maybe falls under the ‘character beats’ reasoning krentist gives. It is one of the few times they do a good job displaying everyone’s individual strengths/abilities.
Anyway I originally came here to post: Taiki Waititi is back for Thor 4.

I was hoping they were gonna spread the Taika love to other movies in the franchise (one offs to keep them fresh), but I personally love Ragnarok and I am not upset.

Honestly, I'm pretty stoked for the What If.. series. Loved that comic growing up. Also pleased with a Black Widow movie and a Hawkeye show. Ali as Blade should be fun too.
I know nothing about the Externals or Shang Chi but I'm all in regardless, especially for the real Mandarin. Another Dr Strange was expected but wheres Black Panther 2?
Disappointed we didn't get anything about FF tho.

I guess Feige mentioned Guardians 3, BP 2, and FF but just that they are in the works. Nothing beyond 2021 tho is a good sign. Said there was no time to talk about the mutants. Personally I'm over the x-men for awhile. Giving it a break is a good idea for some time.
