I didn't think I'd dig this as much but Dave the Diver is crazy addictive. Also helps that I play it on the ps portal bc I have old man eyes now.

One thing I'll recommend - the game kind of throws main story objectives at you at a really rapid pace and I feel like I blew through it too quickly without spending as much time in between just fishing and exploring. There is no consequence for taking your time with things unless you have a VIP diner coming in on a certain date. I wish I had taken things more slowly. |

I still have a Switch game voucher and never played The Thousand Year Door back in the day so I'll probably pick that up with the positive reviews
also why hasnt Nintendo put Windwaker HD on the Switch yet

There’s a working theory that several of these remasters are done and ready to go and they’re just waiting for when they’re gonna drop them. Not sure how much I believe it but it could be something they throw out there towards the end of the switch’s life cycle

Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring is so fucking good. Worth trying out if you played the base game and you can also waltz right in with your high leveled character and still experience a huge challenge. It’s overwhelmingly difficult but a ton of fun.

On the plus side it does seem like the price of refurbished base PS5s will be pretty reasonable soon, which would be nice if I decide to upgrade my PS4 at any point. The fact that the Pro doesn’t have the drive included is insane though

The Astrobot reviews really have me considering finally getting a PS5 and running through the backlog of exclusives. If they get cheaper, I'll be thrilled.
I can't remember the last time I've turned my Series X on. Would consider swapping it for a PS5 honestly but I'm so balls deep in the Microsoft ecosystem with digital titles.....

As someone who has played a grand total of 0 next gen games since buying a PS5 at launch, I'm excited to have a PS5 game that actually uses the controller.
Edit: I guess the 8 hours of Alan Wake 2 I played count and presumably Elden Ring counts as well but neither of those do much of anything with the haptic feedback

So this game is a full on truck simulator…but in space. Best game next to Death Stranding where you can just put on podcasts and veg out driving.

Astro Bot is the first game I've ever intentionally 100%'d. So much fun.
Almost done with the Plucky Squire, a feel good game. I've def played more since getting a PS Portal. Now I can poop and play.
