I have zero regrets about getting up at 6:45 to head to a bar for the Argentina - Iceland game I went to a bar and it smelled like a 4am spot in Wrigleyville w/ a ton of folks already trashed so I watched the game from home. |

I just finished the Croatia/Argentina match, after first watching Denmark/Australia. This has been a really fun and interesting World Cup so far, with lots of surprising upsets. I've really been enjoying it, even though I have to watch everything on a delay because of work

Another great game ended just now. Switzerland scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute to complete a comeback from allowing Serbia to score a goal in the first 5 minutes. Really fun, entertaining game

Yeah, that was awesome. Shaqiri was a boss all game and I was glad to see him get the winner. I'm really surprised by how much Serbia fell off in the second half.

Awful game for Mexico...AWFUL!!! No ball control whatsoever, losing all the balls, playing like kids against seasoned adults. What a bittersweet way of going thorugh the next round. Kudos to the Korean team!

Senegal got eliminated on yellow cards This made me really sad today... especially as in the other game, in light of that rule, Japan literally stopped playing 15 mins prior to the end and traded their traditionally dynamic and lively play and focused on keeping the ball and avoiding yellow cards (and a second goal against them) |
