I wanted Spain to win this one, but they certainly didn’t play well enough to stick around much longer.
My hopeful picks are Belgium and Croatia.

The cool thing about soccer is I'll check twitter at like 1 pm and its 100 people tweeting "oh fuck" and than i figure theres been a horrible tragedy but they are actually just responding to some slovakian guy getting a yellow card

That was ridiculous. Kudos to Colombia for getting their goal to tie, but that was an ugly-ass game. Also glad that the PKs were actually good. Seems like folks were kinda choking in the other games, but both sides took great shots in this one. Can't believe it came down to Eric Fucking Dier, but happy to see all three Spurs hit their chances.  |

As for this round... Sad about little Switzerland, France-Argentina and Belgium-Japan were both incredibly riveting games, and I'm really please that both Spain and Portugal are out

V happy with both of today’s results. I didn’t get to watch the early game, but I’m glad Belgium were able to hang on. Shit got tense there toward the end.
