The Louisville Slugger museum is downtown but it's kind of a disappointing. I don't recall anything else noteworthy. Maybe one day there will be a MMJ museum but as of last summer it hadn't happened yet.

the slugger factory is awesome to walk through. but that's not open every day along with the museum admission.

Against the Grain is right next to the ballpark and is pretty good. Walkable from downtown, too.
Or hell, try to get yourself a KFC helmet from the YUM! Center.

Yeah go to Against the Grain and the Evan Williams experience. If you are [] it would be kind of amazing.

Irt Scoots or anyone else going to Montreal in the coming months, you might find this sound & light show at the (stunning to start with) Basilica of interest Will go check it on Saturday night with my Mom, but apparently it is pretty spectacular www.aurabasiliquemontreal.com/en/

Slugger museum rules. Felt like a moron drinking while carrying me free commemorative bat all day tho.
Evan Williams experience was goofy but fun. Drank a lot of bourbon during the day on no sleep so I maybe had a little less patience for some of the goofiness of it. Doing the bulliet tour tomorrow which seems more traditional.
ali museum was great for kids but a bit of a let down if your hoping to go beyond his story and the background of time. Think I'm going to go to his childhood home tomorrow
I went to a super douchey beer bar which sucked so I instead got a falafel and went to some dive bar and they are playing Nashville skyline and it's chill as hell.
Will probably watch the basketball game at against the grain and then sleep for 15 hours and then spend all morning wandering the cemetery sipping bourbon which was kind of the catalyst for this trip.

Doing the bulliet tour tomorrow which seems more traditional. How is this pronounced? Bull-et? Bully-et? Bull-yay? I've only heard bull-et, but that just doesn't seem right to me.

pretty sure it's just bullet. rango spelled it wrong, it's actually bulleit which looks more like it'd be pronounced bullet.

Bull-ay if you're feeling fancy. I've heard both, but after having been on the tour, it's pronounced bullet.

Looks like French spelling, that's why I thought it could be that. Good to know.

Kentucky has a great track record of murdering the pronunciation of anything French. Versailles as Ver-sales is my favorite.

Went through Midway yesterday afternoon - restaurants near A gates have received a bulk of the updates so far. Biggest news is that Harry Caray's will close by end of week and will be replaced by The Go Go White Sox Bar and Grill. Assuming the above is not open yet, where's the best place to eat/get a drink at Midway these days?

It's open - last I heard they were still going through some growing pains, but they did that whole overnight transition between Harry Caray's and the new bar.
Cafe L’Appetito looks good for a quick bite. O'Reilly's Daughter expanded, but I doubt they have food. The burger place I had referenced previously smells terrible so I'd probably stay clear of that. There's also a sushi place that just opened in the food court, but airport sushi makes me cringe.

Same. We'll either check out the Sox bar or that cafe. Thanks!

I was there last weekend. Get your food and take it to Reilly's Daughter for drinks. L'Appetito is probably the move. My friend got a burrito that was not bad either.

Noted. It'll be tough for me not to just watch the Sox in a Sox bar, but I'll keep an open mind.
