Was Serpent & the Rainbow as terrifying as I remember? it's probably my favorite Craven film still. i wouldn't call it horrifying but i think the story is incredibly well crafted and there's a lot of good disturbing visuals and phobia-play (buried alive, people watching you, etc.) intense, for sure. |

just adding that i fucking love Audition and have been holding onto it until im sure my bf can sit down and watch the whole thing so i can film his reaction.
also we watched S3E8 of Twin Peaks just because it's so absurd and creepy and abstract but it won't spoil anything for him since he hasn't watched The Return yet. and of course cause it's got NIN in it

27. Castle Freak Probably the best movie about a Castle Freak I've seen. (This is really fun and very creepy but also what else is there to say about the film about the Castle Freak)

I found it interesting and engaging and the performances were fantastic. I get not liking it or whatever but it really started to settle with me a few days later. |

28. Citadel Legitimately v spooky but also kinda boring and the politics of it were at best problematic. Definitely spooked me a bit tho so that count for something Really just want to watch castle freak again.

One of the things I appreciate about Castle Freak is it is not ambiguous. Definitely a castle freak.
