I love you guys, I do. But this was a good man. He was not perfect, none of us are. yeah pretty much everything online is tasteless drivel right now and not worth it. i mean I'm sure i was happy when some folks like scalia passed away so i shouldn't throw stones but mccain wasn't in the same class of scum that the rest of the party is right now. The idea that the armed forces is why we have freedom is the most bullshit establishment propaganda piece out there used to justify acts of violence.
I have had family members that serve. I don't hate people that do. But the idea that we have to act like we owe them everything has never resonated with me.

I definitely didn't always agree with how McCain voted, but I don't think he was a bad man. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but shitting on a POW and choosing to only focus on the negative parts of his life is pretty crappy IMO, especially so on the day of his death. This man was not a monster. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. |
