Happy Sierra Nevada Celebration season! I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be available this week. Favorite seasonal. It was not easy to find in my neighborhood last year and I was relegated to getting a few crowlers of it from the local bottle shop. So when I visited the grocery store earlier today and they had four sixers on hand, I basically went through the same arc as Elaine Benes when she found a case of sponges. I did this again today because they just restocked. |

Kind of crazy news (at least IMO) - Goose Island is closing the original Clybourn brewpub and moving it to the Salt Shed. Expected to open end of next year.

Honestly a smart move. The Clybourn location is cramped and a bit out of the way unless you need to make a Binny's/Bed Bath & Beyond trip.

They did a pretty big brand revamp a couple years back and it was very bad - it was still widely available here, but the new can design made it super easy to miss on shelves.

Totally would have missed that.
I feel like whenever I would see an Anchor option on a beer menu there would always be something else I was more interested in, so I would skip over it. Solid brews, though.
