I can't ever eat a huge breakfast but I usually need something if I wanna make it till noon. I've started eating a thing of oatmeal lately. I was drinking those mountain dew kickstart things for a while instead of coffee, which while certainly not healthy are at least better than a lot of energy drinks, but I'm trying to find different alternatives. Sometimes I just do coffee but too much of it messes with my stomach unless its a really light roast
the different alternative I tried today was this water with caffeine in it I found at the grocery store. It was not good. but it did work.

Also I think LoT should have the steak dinner but just get a smaller cut or something and take some home. And veg on the side instead of mashed potatoes or whatever comes with steak.

I need my microdose of caffeine in my decaf or I definitely feel it, but I've been mostly caffeine free for about ten years now.

Yesterday I had lunch hat 11 which was zoodles (150 g) with about 10 shrimp, diced tomatoes, and diced habanero
Around 3 I had some candy as a snack because we were all working together in a small room and there was a giant bag there, two reese cups and a small thing of hersheys
Got home around 5 and had a (bigger, I think 4.5 oz?) can of albacore white tuna with mustard and sriracha for taste
As long as I keep heavy on protein I don't feel too hungry. Won't eat until 11 again today.
I also drink a shit ton of water and that helps. Close to 125 oz a day.

How late do you guys eat at night to not be hungry in the morning? It's more of a willpower thing, but I eat around 8pm usually. It's fairly flexible though. Full disclosure: I ate breakfast this morning because I'm gonna be on flights through lunch, so I'm a hypocrite.

Also I do not want to be hangry with clients, so it's best that my first meal of the day isn't lunch.

It took me about two weeks to get over cravings to eat something before Noon. Now it isn't even an issue and often I don't even feel that hungry at lunch time but I eat anyway, of course.
IRT alady. I try to not to eat past 8 to give everything at least two hours to start digesting before bed. That is a typical work night and of course it can vary if I am out or on vacation or something. Like any change it had its hard moments where I would have killed for anything to eat. But now that I have a regular schedule my bod has adjusted and it is basically a habit now.
Also, I did this in consultation with my doctor, which is what I would recommend before any major dietary or eating routine changes.
Edit: I eat two meals and one snack a day. Lunch at Noon; a snack at 4ish; and dinner at 7-7:30.

What would you usually have for lunch then? Soup. Some sort of salty snack, usually pretzels, in the afternoon.

Like scoots I would be super crabbypants if I didn't eat *something* before my morning meetings but y'all having some small lunches too so idk.
I am gonna start using splenda in my coffee instead of simple syrup (which was admittedly a bit of a splurge) and I'm sure I'll get some kind of weird lab rat disease.

Another pro-tip from the master: Don't give yourself enough time to eat in the morning! If you wake up with only just enough time to get dressed, you can blame capitalism and the need to work for your stomach problems!

I want to but part of the decision was so I can be guilt free for the weekend in New Orleans, where I certainly won't be controlling portions because of the perpetual state of drunkenness ill be in. also the restaurant I decided on instead is also supposed to be really good and had better times available for reservations

i'm legit the worst person for advice on this because i eat nothing but meat, but honestly if you go for a leaner cut of beef and a smaller portion, it's almost as healthy of a choice as a chicken breast or fish filet.
plz don't take that as any sort of discouragement for a proper diet. but if you want to bend the rules a wee beat, a perfect medrare steak is a good time to do it.

Also, your birthday, which comes once a year.
In order for this stuff to work long term you have to figure out how to navigate and mitigate.

I drink way too much Diet Coke each day but it's my coffee substitute right there with you. going to the gym after work for a half-hour or so of cardio, then going straight to slim chickens and get me some $5 chicken and waffles because it's national waffle day. it's all about balance.
