We have that in Wisconsin, it’s tremendously stupid. She could be trying to throw bars a bone after they got fucked by a bunch of pandemic rules. The only reason it’s in effect here is because of Tavern League lobbying (fuck the tavern league)

No, certainly not. That said I think that culturally, drunk or soon to be drunk ppl would drive to the bars in WI anyway - my folks' 70 year old neighbor is selling her car, and they asked her about it and she said "oh it's my bar car" - they inquired further and that's apparently a banged up car with high mileage that you use just to go to the bar and back knowing it will get dinged up in the parking lot or on the way home  |

anyone have any good beach tips/hacks?
we tried to go yesterday but were turned away by cops at both montrose and wilson so we couldn't even drive around to try to find parking. cruised around some side streets around there but the whole damn city was at the beaches yesterday.

i was able to go to their soft opening on Thursday before they opened to the public. very cool spot. definitely a different vibe than the OG spot in Naperville. been looking forward to the city spot finally opening since its walkable from my apartment. will be frequenting there often.
