Cool stuff: -Arya's attempt to get out of Kings Landing was really well done. -Cleganebowl was pretty to look at with Drogon flying overhead. -Action scenes were actually really well done. It helps that it wasn't an actual battle, just chaos.
Bad stuff: -Trying to make Cersei look reasonable. -Dany snapping in a way that wasn't at all earned. It was the least surprising thing to happen this season, but that's mostly because the writers were very obvious about their intentions without any good way to actually facilitate it on the screen. -Tyrion is getting dumber with each passing episode.
Also I don't get the purpose of Jamie this season.

Has the joke been made that all Jon Snow had to do was fuck his aunt and thousands of people would have been saved?

It's a shame that despite how terrible the writing has been everything else about this season has been top notch, especially Emilia's acting.

I'd be curious as to how all those guys ended up in that studio together.

A part of me feels like no matter what people would be disappointed with the writing.
Another, larger part of me also believes there is no way in hell we expected it to be THIS bad.

I'd be curious as to how all those guys ended up in that studio together. It's a promo for Fender's Game of Thrones guitars. Not sure how Scott Ian or Nuno ended up there though because they endorse other brands. Maybe the GOT people requested them.

Plot twist: with the exception of them deciding the king of the continent in 3 fucking minutes because he is good at telling stories (WHAT? ??) I really enjoyed that.

It was okay. King is dumb but everyone else had decent endings.

Everything besides picking the king I loved. Yeah that was my main issue with the episode

LOVED IT! Pretty much everyone's ending was perfect <3
This season was spotty to say the least, but the last episode more than did a good enough job at picking up the pieces, IMO. I'm sure the internet will hate it, but w/e - what's dead may never die.

Ir was an OK episode for me, a decent ending to an otherwise very mediocre season. Somehow I feel like I wasted 9 years of my life but hey, it had it's moments

pretty fucking pitiful, even for an overall atrocious season.
first 20 minutes were promising then everything else was just Happy Ending fodder.
not surprised or upset at this point but definitely still disappointed despite low expectations

I thought they did a good job wrapping things up, very satisfying.
And now I'm going to be on the struggle bus all day.

Outside of pretty much everything in the Dragonpit I was surprised by how much I didn't hate it.

I didn't hate it, but that was not good. They rushed the Dany conclusion and probably needed another episode if they really wanted to deal with the repercussions of what happened in ep 5. Too many speeches and plodding for a finale - I felt like I was watching the last half hour of Return of the King at points. The almost closing shots of Sansa, Arya and Jon Snow was really well done. At least they got that part right.

Also the Bran thing didn't annoy me as much as it probably should have, but I audibly laughed when I started to figure out where they were going with that scene. The skipping ahead in time after Jon killed Dany was jarring and wasn't really handled well.

It's just kind of sad to me that a show that could get you up and pacing or clapping at times had none of those moments in the finale.

She went full on Mad Queen. That was set up pretty blatantly, she's been unraveling all season. Dany is now the final threat, the only question left is who is going to take her out? I would assume it has to either be Jon or Arya. My money is on Jon, it's gotta be Jon. It had to be.
