As a baseball fan I enjoyed both Pujols & Judge's home run chases to end the season. I thought the coverage for both was appropriate, what they each did was special and deserved to be treated as such by the media and fans alike.

i was at fuzzy's taco shop last night right next to a tv showing rangers / yankees when judge came up to bat. i was looking down at the menu and when i looked up, judge was trotting around the bases.
as a rangers fan, my choice of looking at carnitas tacos was the better choice.

It was annoying to be watching a football game and then have a split screen pop up so we could all watch Judge take a walk. Respect your audience a bit more than that.
It’s an American League record and he’s so far ahead of the next closest guy this season that it’s been kind of fun to follow. I honestly think Pujols has been more noteworthy even if he didn’t actually eclipse any records.

Ah the annual tradition of the MLB telling non-major markets to fuck ourselves and giving us 12:00pm weekday start times for playoff games.
Pretty chill to make anyone going have to take a full day off of work, not even a half day would get you there for first pitch.
