He's having the 4th best season post-integration in 1947: 2002 Bonds - 12.7 WAR 2001 Bonds - 12.1 2004 Bonds - 11.9 2022 Judge - 11.5 Anyone younger than 25 basically has no memories of a guy hitting this many homers. This is fucking awesome for the sport. |

Ah the annual tradition of the MLB telling non-major markets to fuck ourselves and giving us 12:00pm weekday start times for playoff games. Pretty chill to make anyone going have to take a full day off of work, not even a half day would get you there for first pitch. Seems like it makes business sense? |

Maybe, I'm sure this is just at the behest of ESPN or TBS to optimize ad buys. I just wish they wouldn't insist that every game run consecutively without overlap. No one is sitting around all day watching 12 hours of wild card baseball - give the local fans at least a 1:00pm start for godsakes |
