Expect a return to normal for this year's street festival season. In addition to the fests listed below Taste of Randolph, Ribfest, and Square Roots have each already announced plans to return in 2022. I believe the Taste is coming back as well. Plenty of others have already been announced here & here.
Use this thread to post band and lineup announcements as they come in, happy (street) festing everyone.

The Taste is officially back but they're changing up the format. There will be 3 neighborhood events held June 11, 18 and 25 at different neighborhoods throughout the city. Then the traditional event in Grant Park will be scaled down to 3 days July 8-10.

I'd say it's crazy that the Taste isn't doing anything in the West Loop since that's where the good restaurants are but then I guess those restaurants don't need to deal with that bullshit to get business so it makes sense

Maybe that's intentional, to spread out the crowds a bit.

Busta is at the top of my list of "must-sees", so hopefully I can make that happen.

Busta is at the top of my list of "must-sees", so hopefully I can make that happen. same. I used to confuse busta rhymes with the now late biz markie because I remember that they became popular around the same time. saw biz at an oldies rap show, so busta is now a must see.

clouddead and I were supposed to see Busta at one of the Soundset fests we went to, but Busta cancelled at the last minute. It was a very cold/windy one and I don't really blame him.

Just realized there's a very high likelihood that Jeff Rosenstock headlines Sunday of Taste of Randolph. He has June 19th blurred out, and the mapping puts them right around Chicago. Checked the fest's website, and that is the weekend it is happening
