Roscoe Village Burger Fest & Taste of Lincoln Ave are going with cover bands once again. I suspect that might be par for the course for those two moving forward.
Ribfest (which is now in August) has yet to announce, they've traditionally only booked local and national acts who play original music.
Still haven't heard anything re: Goose Island Block Party and/or Revolution Oktoberfest, although I'm cautiously optimistic both will return this year as well.

Is there any greater zenith than leaving a street fest having spent exactly as many tickets as you bought?
Is there any greater nadir than finding an extra strip of tickets at the bottom of your purse the next morning?

the greatest thing about street fests these days is the acceptance of cards. pretty sure that was a rarity pre-covid.

Luckily we were overall up tickets because a couple pushed their double wide stroller into my dude and bought him off (rather unnecessarily) with two strips of tickets.
