Skokie's Backlot Bash headliners are Kid 'n Play (Friday) & Vertical Horizon (Saturday). I will for sure be there for Kid 'n Play.

Just realized there's a very high likelihood that Jeff Rosenstock headlines Sunday of Taste of Randolph. He has June 19th blurred out, and the mapping puts them right around Chicago. Checked the fest's website, and that is the weekend it is happening Fwiw, he also had a date blurred out in basically the same place in the tour when the tour was originally set for January |

Ribfest (the real one, in Northcenter), is moving from its traditional mid June dates to Aug 19-21.

Kind of surprised none of the city street festivals have announced lineups yet. In past years we would start to get them in March.

It's weird year in that most are returning from a multi-year hiatus, I expect we'll start getting lots of announcements later this month.

There was a massive fire in the building across the street from D33 this morning. I think that might cause issues for the fest today if not force it to cancel.

my mechanic (and former client) owns the auto shop (high point) south of the alley next to the second auto shop (star) that caught fire from the first auto shop (smashy) where the fire started.
