OBJECTIVE
On the first of every month, we will post curated playlists in this thread. Discussion, ribbing, etc. can all also take place here.
RULES
1. Playlists are due on the first of the following month. The participation deadline is the 5th of the current month. If your name is listed in "The Regulars" below, you will automatically be entered into the match-ups every month. Please tell me if you'd like to be added or dropped before the 5th - on that day, I will PM everyone who they will be making a playlist for.
The schedule would look something like this:
Deadline to participate: December 5
Deadline for playlist: January 1
Deadline to participate: January 5
Deadline for playlist: February 1
and so on
2. I will use a random match generator for match-ups each month.
3. Playlists should be roughly 60 minutes long, or about 12-14 songs. There is no reason for this other than it seems to work well for the typical attention span. You can be as loose with this as you'd like.
4. These should be designed to be heard in order, in one sitting. Consider transitions between songs, overall moods/flows, and anything else you can. Next to discovery, the most fun to be had here lies in pairing regular songs together in irregular ways. NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, themes are "dealer's choice." If your theme is that the songs all sound good together, that's fine. If you get all conceptual and coheed with it, that's fine too.
5. Please title your playlist. Cover art is optional.
6. On the first of the month, please post your playlist in the following format: (using my December playlist for my friend as reference here)

post the spotify playlist link below and it will populate. i am also a fan of just looking at the tracklist in text, so i will also do that. i guess its your call.
