I will hand it to Baseline that they pipe in some solid Bossa Nova-style covers.

How badly if at all did discount trump just shoot himself in the foot with this Disney thing This Twitter thread is a good read if you want to know more about what deSantis signed today. It's all political theatre for his 2024 presidential campaign.

Would bet any amount of money you are an android guy so maybe you'll know the fix here... I added my Disney pass to my Google wallet and it seems to be interfering with my ability to use my Google pay to buy concessions at the park? Is the solution just removing my pass from my Google wallet? Any downside to doing this?

The preferred way to pay is Apple Pay. Anyway is the issue around the default payment method? In that case you need to either turn off purchases on the pass, make sure you have the card you want selected in Google pay, or last resort remove the pass from your wallet.

My review of Disney so far
Epcot: no rides here except figment and maybe one other. More or less just lugged my nephew around while my brother in law and I pounded through beers around the world. Was asleep by 9. This park sucks for kids and is good for old people.
Magic Kingdom: this park sucks for old people but is good for kids. my nephew slept for two and a half hours mid day which was great for getting some of the height requirement rides like splash mountain out of the way. Believe it or not they've stopped selling Song of the South Merch in the gift shop. Space Mountain is legitimately cool because it's so dark. My nephew's favorite part of the day was getting one of those bubble sticks. Don't think we needed to come all this way for that.
Animal Kingdom: no one but me had any energy to do a park today so I did this on my own. Was pretty sick to show up at doors and reserve a safari for mid morning. Had been through Yeti (classic), Avatar Flight (70 minute wait but that's life), and the safari before 10. Then I did a bang bang at the Avatar restaurant and the Nomad Lounge. Latter gotta be one of the top spots to eat and drink in the parks. some guy told me he was there last night as well and got plastered off three drinks. Afternoon more of a mixed bag... dinosaur ride pretty busted and the tiger just gave birth or some shit so she wasn't there on the Asia nature trail. Avatar river cruise was fine but I'd have been pissed if I waited 50 mins for it. Still, I'd probably say this is the best park so far for the kids and the adults. Little something for everyone
On my way to Jaleo now which you gotta imagine sucks.
Plan tomorrow is to hit the star wars shit

The Magic Kingdom was fun b/c we went in the evening and did everything we wanted to do - Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Splash M, Space M, and seeing the castle all lit up.

Hollywood Studios probably has the best rides of any park. The new Star Wars shit absolutely slaps. Rise of the Resistance is probably the most impressive experience at the parks. Glad I didn't really look up anything in advance. Millennium Falcon also cool. I was pretty pleased with the star wars food. Between this and the Pandora stuff it seems like they're actually trying to have fun with their kitschy sci fi menus. Cantina drinks were good too but less good than Nomad Lounge.
Outside the Star Wars stuff -- Tower of Terror holds up and the Mickey Runaway Railroad is the best kids ride in the parks imo. Love the art style too.
My biggest gripe is that this park seems to have really high wait times. They should put in a marvel world or something to ease some of the Star Wars pressure.
Overall Disney World is good. Would definitely some back, cut the Magic Kingdom, and add a Universal Day or two.

My biggest gripe is that this park seems to have really high wait times. They should put in a marvel world or something to ease some of the Star Wars pressure. Universal actually holds the rights to Marvel east of the Mississippi, meaning as long as they have their Marvel world Disney can't do anything in Disney World. Doesn't apply to the West, which is why Disneyland now has the Avengers Campus thing. Universal also can't do anything MCU related so all their stuff is still based off the comics and 90s animated TV shows. I'd agree they could use something else in Hollywood studios to relieve the lines though.

Yes it could be literally any major IP. There's no way I'd spend two hours of my day on a ride where you help Tony Stark and the troops blow up a developing country or whatever so it doesn't need to be MCU world

Hollywood Studios continues to go through an identity crisis for sure. Even with the recent additions, the park still needs more attractions.

Was the Italian kid an employee at the Italy section of Epcot? I always thought the staff at Epcot was from each country but some British guys were asking about my Ween/ Coors shirt when I ordered a beer from them at the France section

He was just hanging out Animal Kingdom. Also at Animal Kingdom, I met a person taller than me for the first time in my adult life.

We're going to LA in late February and we planned to do one of those days at Disney Land (which I've never been to, though I've been to Disney World multiple times) but we'll be there after the Nintendo Park opens and now I'm conflicted. Worried Universal will be way too crowded that close to opening though

The new-ish GotG coaster at Epcot is the best. Smoothest coaster I’ve ever been on especially while the vehicle rotates. 1st song I got Disco Inferno - The Trammps 2nd and 3rd song Everybody Wants To Rule The World The preshow is alright but man does everybody act like they’re phoning it in, including Chris Pratt.
