my first job was at a theme park (frontier city in okc) and i had to wear a cowboy hat, western pearlsnap shirt, jeans and a big belt buckle.
great job for a kid, and we stayed late after the park closed and drank beer and rode the rides too fast.

2021 should be the perfect time for folks to have completely forgotten about Tron.

Every time Disney announces a new live action movie based on something from their animation catalog, I'm always going "Where's TRON 3!?"

I think I might try to do this in August: www.denverfilm.org/summer-scream/End your summer with a bang at Denver Film Society’s Summer Scream, the only private event to take over Denver’s historic Lakeside Amusement Park. Come enjoy unlimited rides, open bars, and free experiences from our sponsors, Ratio BeerWorks, Molly’s Spirits, and so many more. Best of all, proceeds support year-round Denver Film Society programming. This is our old-school amusement park.

what's the best major american theme park ride it's the tower of terror right V close. Splash Mountain is the answer if you're talking full package. Thrill ride wise, Revenge of the Mummy (Orlando one) may also beat ToT. On this note. SOARIN IS WAY OVERRATED FIGHT ME.

Is it not Flight of Passage? Wouldn't argue against ToT or Splash Mountain either.

p sure tower of terror isnt a thing anymore. i think it's guardians of the galaxy now? idk i havent been in so long
superman (the gurnee one,) top thrill dragster, raging bull, revenge of the mummy, and that aerosmith one (rock n roller coaster i think?) are probably all in contention imo

Disneyland is GotG themed, disney world is still tower of terror. They’re building an actual Guardians of the Galaxy ride since it’s one of the limited superhero properties they can use for a ride this side of the Mississippi
Also splash mountain rules

Casting my vote for Dragster or Millennium, however I haven't been on a roller coaster in forever and think I'm finally going to Carrowinds in the next couple of weeks so this may overtake them...(also I'm terrified to ride this)

ive been to disney world and both the orlando and hollywood Universal lately
Out of just those parks, Flight of Passage is my favorite, followed by Splash Mountain. Tower of Terror, Revenge of the Mummy (Orlando version is slightly better), and Expedition Everest are all right behind it.
Then a tier below those, I'd put Rock'n Roller Coaster, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (Hogwarts one), Test Track, and Transformers the Ride.
Also the Hollywood Studio Tour is top tier, its super cool and has like three rides within it (a King Kong one, a Fast and Furious one, and this earthquake thing) along with seeing the studios, and its like 45 minutes long which is cool, but it feels kind of unfair to count it because its not a ride within itself.
I havent been to a non-Disney/Universal theme park in a long time I should change that

On this note. SOARIN IS WAY OVERRATED FIGHT ME. Current version of Soarin' is trash. California holds up alright, but was fucking revolutionary when it debuted.
Here's something insane: when Soarin' over California debuted, it was screened on FILM. 35mm projectors, threaded with the same reel hundreds of times a day. The Florida humidity caused huge issues with the print, and the ride constantly shut down before it switched over to digital projection a year later. But that's how old Soarin' is at this point.

i mean as you know film prints were in use across the country in the last 10 years. so it doesnt seem like it would be that old.
