PROLOGUE: IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT... (the intro)
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the castle, The Board Dot returns with a second installment of The Horror Movie Club!
We are two weeks out from October 1st and I've been putting together a program for this October for awhile now. These next 10 days or so are super busy at work, so I wanted to post this to get the blood flowing and give time to get ready for the season. A few theaters around me have released their screening schedules so I figured I could roll this out.
To group us into somewhat similar discussion, programming is broken into 5 themed weeks this year - two pretty loosely themed, three more focused.
Similar to the [box] concept previously used for albums, we now have a Google Drive account to use for this (and future?) project. This is an experiment and is subject to change. From what I've read, I believe Google Drive isn't as concerned with file content hosted on their cloud if it isn't shared. For this reason, everyone who wants to participate will receive the login info for the Drive. Please PM me for the email / password for the account. I will not be posting it publicly.
The plan is to include each film in the drive, one week/theme at a time. I have these all set and ready to go for everyone's enjoyment, and will update the contents of the drive myself. It will not be active until 2-3 days before October 1.
You may participate and watch some of these, or all of these, or none of these! I just wanted the option to be there.
I may drop in a surprise "bonus" film per week, on-theme, space permitting.
