I am very excited for the Thursday show tonight. War All the Time was my favorite album in high school so should be cool seeing it performed live 20 years later. I'm there too. Although I now have to find a new place to park since the strip of Milwaukee I used to park on is a bike lane now I used to live in the neighborhood behind the Concord. There's free parking in that neighborhood on Campbell after Lyndale. I was usually able to park there without any problem like 95% of the time. |

I enjoy Scorcese and DDL and this has been on my list forever. Maybe I'll watch tn sk I can vote. Feel like Aviator was one of the first movies I saw in theatres that was not aimed at kids. The plane crash scene was v disturbing for a little Neader. Watched it. I liked Aviator more but did not vote if you need a tiebreaker. |

After playing 2k for about 20 months straight I am now playing through Disco Elysium. Fun game despite it being literally nothing but walking around and talking to people.

I can't remember the last time I was at a movie where someone wasn't talking or on their phone. Such a vibe killer. Dude was recording the action scenes on his phone and texting them to people during Godzilla Minus One yesterday (good film).

It is soooo embarrassing So many cringey lines and music cues but the one that makes my skin crawl is when Bridget is quitting her job and says something like "I'd rather have a job wiping Saddam Hussein's arse!" and then "Respect" by Aretha Franklin kicks in I cringed so hard I felt something pop This is hilarious I gotta watch this movie |

Went to attagirl last night and got the burger with fries. Both were incredible. Service was great but can't imagine they'll ever be more than 75% full at any time.
Breakfast burrito from Big Kids this morning was fine.

Regarding Gremlins I just randomly think how crazy it is that they wrote Phoebe Cate's dad died from dressing up as Santa Clause, going down the chimney to surprise his kids, gets stuck and breaks his neck. Wasn't he also like stuck there for days and no one knew and they only figured it out from the smell?
Insanely dark.
