I get they can't pull a headliner the size of Beyonce, Harry Styles or Bad Bunny every year but that list is pretty subpar by Coachella standards.

Of all the artists from the last 15 years who are big enough to headline this festival, Tyler and Lana are probably as close to the best creatively as it gets. I do think this needs a whale to round things out. Coachella is usually very deep so I wouldn't worry about the undercard panning out.

I have also been reminded that Doja Cat is a white supremacist so that’s where we’re at this year Ehhhh maybe….but I have a hard time labeling anyone of mixed race background as a white supremacist. I think it’s a bit reductive of the identity struggles she has certainly gone through, which doesn’t excuse the things she’s said / done, just puts them in a different context. I’m sure all of that gets accentuated when you are a household name, too. That said….I could not care a bit less about Doja Cat’s art or celebrity and I am happy she is occupying a headlining set at a festival I will not be atttending. |

Agreed but both of them have played nearly everything under the sun the past 3-5 years so it's not really that exciting. |

I seem to remember hearing they tried to get them for 2012, but it didn't happen and The Black Keys took the headlining spot. it was 2013 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers but yes I think the lineup comes out towards the end of this week. Stones probably get me there no questions asked. 2012 was Black Sabbath thank you all for your attention to this matter |
