I booked a couple of options in Palm Springs last month. Pretty annoyed that the Palm Desert motel I stayed in for ~300/night this year is charging ~1000/night for next year.

Yeah but I feel like that slot doesn't need to be a huge act as much as a coachella legacy act I dunno to me the point of that slot seemed to be a way to essentially create a 4th headliner slot because the acts weren't going to play without "headlining". I doubt you see anyone who isn't at least borderline headliner level there. I dont think it has to be an EDM act though |

Was a little tempted to buy a pass via the AMEX presale but with doing Corona Capitol in November I'm going to wait for the lineup. Part of me thinks 2023 was a bit of a black swan event with them booking acts like Gorillaz, The Chemical Brothers, Bjork and Underworld and I'm going to need acts like that to justify the expense of this festival.
