I'm gonna start tweeting at the fest saying who is Peso Pluma and why are they billed above Deftones

11/17/8 + No Doubt That's still pretty good but idk if I wanna drop 2k on this experience, you know? you don't live in the fucking sticks, who do you need to travel for on this lineup that you've never seen? Blur? And I've already seen them! I am leaning towards no, especially since the group I went with last year to this is not feeling it

Even with Blur that's a pretty mid Coachella lineup. I don't see this selling out two weekends. Also this

There's also way less acts per day than in 2023. Did they cut a stage or something?

I like how 99% of this is for teenagers but then they threw in Deftones, Blur, and Taking Back Sunday so the old millennial dads have one thing to look forward to each day while they chaperone their kids.

They are gonna milk the hell out of the Sublime thing you'll get to see them at an amphitheater this summer or wait a year or two and see them for cheap at the casino in Gary

Also why does it look like shit, from a technical standpoint? Like Mandy, Indiana is clipped out at the bottom even lol? Yeah I really thought this was a fake with some of this stuff. It looks like a photoshop. No Doubt didn't even get a returning to the desert or whatever (have they ever played this fest before) Totally looks faek. The font sizing in particular is scaled rong.

I think I saw somewhere there are 31 less acts booked than last year which explains some stuff

Weren't The Killers supposed to be on here? I understand I am not selling this for myself typing that out but still Fairly certain people misinterpreted an interview where Brandon Flowers was teasing something around the Hot Fuss anniversary. A lot of people just figured he meant Coachella when I think it's more likely they're headlining Just Like Heaven this year and maybe doing an album set.

notes:
-this is the worst coachella lineup ever but its still better than several recent bonnaroos -sunday is so bad i would potentially just not go and find something else to do -friday and saturday could be fun couchella days but can't imagine paying for this fest. the bands aren't BAD but there is not a single exciting act on this entire list. no, sublime is not exciting. -neal francis [ ] -neil francis [X] -i can't believe they put my taco bell boys militarie gun on the bottom line

-this is the worst coachella lineup ever but its still better than several recent bonnaroos So my opinion is influenced by that I've gotten pretty into alt country/red dirt country stuff in the last few years and Bonnaroo has done an insanely good job of booking that sort of stuff the last few years which has made every undercard look much better to me, but I can't think of a recent Bonnaroo that I'd prefer this Coachella lineup to.

I guess I'll wait and see where/if Blur does any stand alone shows around the 2 weekends.

Blur is a very exciting booking for me, near the top of my bucket list, but I can't imagine that crowd for them is actually fun. I guess it partly depends on how it's scheduled but if they are like leading into Tyler instead of closing a stage that'd probably be rough. It's hard for me to imagine many hardcore Blur fans braving the rest of this lineup just for them
I hope they play some other shows

The undercard here is better than Coachella! and the Coachella headliners aren't good enough to make up for that

I agree that it’s underwhelming but Blur is a #1 bucket list band for me. I share crowd concerns but I dealt with The Black Keys fans leading into Pulp in 2012 and it was worth it.
I think Kilby is still my fave lineup overall this year.

The undercard here is better than Coachella! and the Coachella headliners aren't good enough to make up for that I would say the undercards are comparable in that they're both mid, but there's more interesting stuff on Coachella's But it also doesn't really matter which of these terrible lineups we prefer at the end of the day

I think if they had them close the outdoor stage that night it'd be a great (but probably small) crowd and could end up an all timer show, but if they are subbing for Tyler on the main stage I feel like it'll be a pretty apathetic crowd. Just depends. In 2013 they were either closing or leading into Stone Roses depending on the weekend which probably lent to having an engaged crowd I'm sure it'll be a good show either way from them. I'm already contemplating trying to find my way to Chicago/NYC/wherever if they do more shows, although time of year around Coachella is unfortunately tough for me

Bad lineup but fingers crossed for other Justice and Orbital dates Orbital just tweeted that they're playing Radius and two shows at Webster Hall in March in addition to Coachella and Ultra Kinda sad that they're only doing the live festival set at Radius, because the early show at Webster Hall where they'll play the green and Brown albums is something that would get me to Radius
